Half Of All U.S. Children Will Be Autistic By 2025 - MIT Researcher’s New Warning

MIT Researcher’s New Warning: At Today’s Rate, Half Of All U.S. Children Will Be Autistic By 2025

Research scientist Stephanie Seneff of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a widely published author on topics ranging from Azlheimer’s Disease to autism and cardiovascular disease, raised plenty of eyebrows recently with a bold proclamation on autism at a special panel in Massachusetts about genetically modified organisms and other topics.
“At today’s rate, by 2025, one in two children will be autistic,”  Seneff said last Thursday in Groton, MA at an event sponsored by the holistic-focused Groton Wellness organization.
Seneff presented slides showing a remarkably consistent correlation between the rising use of Roundup (with its active ingredient glyphosate) on crops and the rising rates of autism; while it doesn’t show a direct correlation it does give researchers plenty to think about, especially considering Seneff’s research into the side effects of autism that mimic glyphosate toxicity and deficiencies.
gloysphate
The slide notes that the heaviest use of Roundup, Monsanto’s flagship weedkiller, began in 1990 and continued to rise since. Meanwhile, the  number of kids with autism has gone from 1 in 5,000 in 1975 to 1 in 68 today, a puzzling and frustrating stat that shows no signs of slowing down and one that correlates strongly with the rise in glyphosate use.
Of course, autism is a complex problem with many potential causes, but the numbers are particularly of note considering how close the correlation is, and Seneff’s credentials.
Dr. Seneff has written 10 papers (7 as the first author) in various medical and health journals on modern diseases as well as drug side effects, nutritional deficiencies and the impacts of environmental toxins on our health. She also worked as a Senior Research Scientist at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory before turning to biology, as her official biography notes.
You can read more about her presentation on the website The Complete Patient by clicking here, and you can also check out the full versions of her slides on glyphosate and autism by clicking here.

EPA DEBATING ROUNDUP BAN OR RESTRICTIONS, ARE THEY BEING OBJECTIVE?

Recently, the group Moms Across America visited with officials from the EPA to discuss a potential ban or restrictions on Roundup, especially in light of recent findings that the active ingredient glyphosate is found in the breast milk of American mothers at levels that are a dangerous 760 to 1600 times higher than allowable limits in European drinking water.
While the group made its point loud and clear, it is well worth noting than many of the 100 studies provided for the EPA’s review were actually provided by the chemical companies themselves.
Urine testing has also shown that Americans have 10 times the glyphosate accumulation in their urine than Europeans, and children with autism have many biomarkers indicating excessive glyphosate in their systems including key mineral deficiencies, seizures and mitochondrial (the cell’s power center) disorders.

SENEFF RESPONDS TO MONSANTO’S KEY ARGUMENT

While Monsanto claims that Roundup is harmless because humans don’t have a shikimate pathway, which it inhibits, Seneff notes that our gut bacteria do have this pathway, and that’s crucial because these bacteria supply our body with crucial amino acids.
She also says that most studies are too short to show Roundup’s oft-studied effects as a cumulative toxin, one that builds up both in the environment and in our bodies over time.
According to Seneff, Roundup has the following side effects: it kills beneficial gut bacteria, allowing pathogens to grow; interferes with the synthesis of amino acids and methionine which leads to shortages in critical neurotransmitters and folate; chelates (removes) important minerals like iron, cobalt and manganese, and much more.
Additional chemicals in Roundup are untested because they’re classified as “inert,”she notes in her presentation, butaccording to a 2014 study in BioMed Research International they are capable of amplifying the ill effects of Roundup hundreds of times over.

Operation Introduction: A Conversation with a Cop

My first day of Operation Introduction. I introduced Nick to 2 new neighbors and that was very cool. The day ended with my spotting a police cruiser driving down our street (a rare sight on our dead end street) and my running out the door, waving it down asking if I could introduce them to my son. They stopped and were very polite, but their answers to my questions may surprise you.

Me:  Hi. Is this the area you usually patrol?

Officer: Yes.

Me:  Great. I would like to introduce you to my special needs son just in case you run into him one day. Do you have a moment?

Officer:Yes

I went in the house, got Nick and brought him down to the police car

Me:  Nick these are the police. Officer, what is your name?

Officer: Hi I'm John, what's your name?

Nick: Nick Jones

Officer: Nice to meet you.

Nick then just stands there, hugging me, not paying much attention.

Me:  Thank you for stopping. It's very important to me that you know him, should you ever encounter him in the community. It's not likely that he would be on his own, but he could wander.

Officer: Okay.

Me:  Have you been fortunate enough to get any training as it relates to engaging our teen children in the community?

Officer: Nope, they have trained us in how to deal with mental illness in general.
Me:  Thinking  to myself, YIKES, I just looked at him uncertain of my next response, while Nick hugged me and twisted the end of his belt between his thumb and forefinger.

Officer: We do have a protocol. I understand that these kids may not be "listening" to us.

Me: I just want as many people in this area to be aware of him, so should he ever be out on his own he's safe, because he will never respond the way you need him to.

My son would not respond to this command!
Officer: We are trained to do what needs to be done to restrain the individual so they do not harm anyone or themselves.

Me: As a mom I'm concerned because, it's not that my son or another person may not be listening as much as it is that they don't comprehend the command or why it's critical at that moment. My son does not have any idea what would happen if you yelled "Put your hands up", so he wouldn't do it. He's more likely to do what he's doing now - I looked down to see Nick playing with his belt - and you might think he's reaching for a gun.  That's what happened to a young man with autism who got shot downtown a few years ago.

Officer: Those situations you hear about young men being shot are because they have a gun, a knife, a sword or a toy that looks to be dangerous.

Officer: Hey Nick, nice to meet you.

Me: Thank you officer for listening and keeping an eye out for our kids.

This is how I interpreted our conversation:
The police in my area are not familiar with how people with Autism may respond in a given situation, and they are going to restrain, shoot or do whatever they deem necessary, because that's what they HAVE been trained to do.

The good news is, who's to say Officer John didn't hear or see something today that increased his awareness that may help someone's child.

Bullies without Boundaries! Ice Bucket Challenge turned into sick joke against teen with autism

How is it that some people always find a way to turn something wonderful into something horrific. Once again, one of our unsuspecting kids who could never conceive doing something so horrible to another person is abused. So sad. I am speechless.

**Important note: The family asked that we show the video to make other parents aware of bullying.**
BAY VILLAGE, Ohio – Police are investigating an alleged case of bullying involving a teenager with autism who took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
“Once we found out about it, we were just horrified,” said Diane, the mother of the Bay High School student.  She claimed her youngest son was videotaped as feces, urine, spit and cigarette butts were dumped on his head by a group of juveniles.
“I want these kids held accountable for what they did to him and they targeted somebody who just didn’t really understand what was going on,” she said.
FOX 8 News is not identifying the family by last name to help protect their son.
According to the victim’s mom, Diane, the video was discovered on her 15-year-old son’s cell phone. She, along with her husband and other son, Jacob, wants it to be made public.
“I mean, the first thing that popped into my mind was like, why could someone – how could someone do this?” said Jacob. “How could someone really be this cruel to someone?”
In the video, the boy with autism is seen standing in the driveway of a home off school grounds. He’s wearing only his underwear as a bucket of fluid is poured from the roof of the garage. The bucket allegedly contained a mix of bodily fluids instead of ice water.
“He was embarrassed because he did not know what the contents were until afterwards and then he didn’t want anybody to know,” said his mom. “They used his phone to tape it and they put it up on Instagram.”
“This is just too far. It’s really bad,” said his brother, Jacob.
The Bay Village Police Department was made aware of the alleged incident on Wednesday. According to Det. Kevin Krolkosky, criminal charges could be filed.
“It’s disturbing to watch, you can obviously tell that somebody has been taking advantage of there,” said the detective.
Det. Krolkosky met with the parents and said it’s not a prank; it’s possibly a crime committed on the boy with autism by a group of juveniles who could face delinquency charges.
A spokesperson for Bay High School, where the victim is a student, said they’re now working hand-in-hand with police as they investigate.
“Obviously, if possible, we do want to hold those individuals accountable for their actions,” said Det. Krolkosky.
The police are just beginning their investigation and we’re told it could take a few weeks to file charges but they have a good idea who was involved.
“The bucket challenge is supposed to be raising awareness for this disease and now they’ve turned it into a sick joke,” said the victim’s mom. “I just can’t understand why kids would do something this cruel.”
The boy’s mom and dad wanted the video released to make other parents aware of bullying so they’ll have a conversation with their kids on how to treat people.

Whistleblower: CDC covered up vaccine’s autism effect in black boys

cdcWhistleblower: CDC covered up vaccine’s autism effect in black boys

A top research scientist working for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) played a key role in helping Dr. Brian Hooker of the Focus Autism Foundation uncover data manipulation by the CDC that obscured a higher incidence of autism in African-American boys. The whistleblower came to the attention of Hooker, a PhD in biochemical engineering, after he had made a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for original data on theDeStefano et al MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) and autism study.
Dr. Hooker’s study, published August 8 in the peer-reviewed scientific journal Translational Neurodegeneration, shows that African-American boys receiving their first MMR vaccine before 36 months of age are 3.4 times more likely to develop autism vs. after 36 months.
According to Dr. Hooker, the CDC whistleblower informant — who wishes to remain anonymous — guided him to evidence that a statistically significant relationship between the age the MMR vaccine was first given and autism incidence in African-American boys was hidden by CDC researchers. After data were gathered on 2,583 children living in Atlanta, Georgia who were born between 1986 and 1993, CDC researchers excluded children that did not have a valid State of Georgia birth certificate — reducing the sample size being studied by 41%. Hooker explains that by introducing this arbitrary criteria into the analysis, the cohort size was sharply reduced, eliminating the statistical power of the findings and negating the strong MMR-autism link in African American boys.
Dr. Hooker has worked closely with the CDC whistleblower, and he viewed highly sensitive documents related to the study via Congressional request from U.S. Representative Darrell Issa, Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

Disney Faces More Heat As Autistic Kids Lawsuit Looks To Expand

Give em Hell! There had to be a better solution. There are always going to be people who abuse things, but pouring out the baby with the bath water is no solution. Find a better way Disney Parks and Resort…you can do it!

Disney Faces More Heat As Autistic Kids Lawsuit Looks To Expand

    VS

Deadline.com EXCLUSIVE:  Walt Disney Parks and Resorts could be facing a lot more angry families of children with developmental disorders if the plaintiffs in the ongoing American With Disabilities Act lawsuit get their way. In fact, the discrimination suitover access at Disneyland and other theme parks filed back in April against the media giant could nearly triple. “After the initial Complaint was filed, undersigned counsel received an outpouring of phone calls and emails from victims and their families, similarly situated to the 26 existing Plaintiffs,” said lawyers Andy Dogali and Eugene Feldman in one of several filings today in federal court (read it here). “Most of the victims wanted to offer cheers of support and witness assistance; some were in search of counsel. Ultimately, the undersigned counsel agreed to represent many of them.”

The attorneys are requesting to amend the original complaint to add another 69 plaintiffs to the two dozen-plus already involved. Disney, of course, is opposed to this, and the whole matter of the addition likely will be decided during an October 6 hearing before Judge Manuel Real. Of the 69 potential new plaintiffs, 36 are disabled and 33 are “family members who bring individual tort and contract claims.” Presently 16 of the plaintiffs are “allegedly disabled,” according to the proposed order submitted today (read it here), and 10 are family members.
This all started in October when, in an effort to weed out scammers, Disney got rid of the long-standing Guest Assistance Card program and introduced the Disability Access Service at its parks and resorts in Florida and California. Unlike the front-of-the-line and staff-sensitive GAC, the new system proved disruptive and detrimental to the children in question say the plaintiffs. In their initial suit filed in the spring, the guardians of the children claimed they were now disrespected by Disney employees, stuck in long lines to which individuals with conditions like autism and other cognitive impairments were very unsuited – all of which led to “meltdown behaviors” and the children having to leave the park or sometimes being asked to leave. Citing trauma and suffering as well, the 57-count complaint sought damages, injunctive relief and declaratory relief for violations of the ADA and the Unruh Civil Rights Act.
Disney rather bloodlessly rejected the claims in early July and asked for the case to be dismissed. Disney also denied the existence of the so-called “Magic List,” which supposedly grants selected very VIP persons no-wait, no-appointment-necessary ride passes among its privileges. The plaintiffs have suggested a version of the Magic List could provide the solution to their problem. At the end of July, Disney attempted to have the case moved to Florida federal court, where it undoubtedly feels the company will get a more sympathetic reception as one of the state’s largest employers. There has been no decision yet on that request.
Rhonda Trotter and Daniel Paluch of LA firm Kaye Scholer LLP are representing Disney in the case.
